18 Inexpensive Beauty Products That Work!

1.   NYX Matte Lipsticks The super-pigmented shades range from everyday neutrals to not-subtle-at-all brights. They have a  creamy application  and — unlike most mattes — won’t dry out your lips. $6  2. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Glides on smoothly, stays put all day, and the easy twist-up packaging lets you ditch the sharpener. $8 3.  Milani Baked Blush Luminoso is the most popular — for a  subtle flush  that’s flattering on almost any skin tone. $8 4.  Blistex Lip Medex This tingly balm is a serious, no-frills hydrator for chapped lips. (Though to some, the menthol scent might be off-putting.) Less than $2  5.  Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Three cheers for any product that a) easily removes eye makeup in a single swipe, b) doesn’t feel oily and greasy afterward, and c) doesn’t eventually dry out your skin. 4 ways to Stay Meltproof!

1. Scan Those Labels For all-day coverage, look for oil-free foundation that contains silicone. They are less likely yo budge than oil-based formulas. 2. Prime Your Eyelids To keep your eye shadow from fading, apply a bit of eye shadow base first then gently dab it on from the lash line upward. Then put the color on top. 3. Ditch Regular Blush Well, at least on sweltering days. Cheek stains are great in the summer. They last longer than cream or powder blush and give you a gorgeous glow. Those stains are pretty on lips too. 4. Prevent Lash Streaks To avoid messy raccoon eyes, stick with waterproof mascara. If you're not a fab, just apply it on your bottom lashes so it wont be as hard to wash off. here are some of my favorite for each category: 1. 2. 3. 4.

San Diego Adventure w/ the boyfriend!

Image
Okay so yesterday my boyfriend & i went down to Mission Valley in San Diego because I had to join the union for my job. Mission Valley is about an hour away from my house. Turns out, after filling out paper work & almost being able to join it, it looks like it was the wrong union that I was suppose to join. So sometime this week, I have to find out how I am going to go up north and join the right union. Anyways, after all that mess, we stayed in Mission Valley and we went to the mall. At the mall, we did some window shopping and just explored the mall down there. I did buy one shirt from Charlotte Russe. Its cute, peach, flowy shirt. I really like it and it was on sale for $8, the original price was like $15. So that was a bargain! I think it looks good with some black pants but in the picture below I am wearing some peach shorts to go with my new top. But most likely when it gets a lot cooler, I will defiantly have that top with black pants. While at the mall we also l...

Self-Harm & Trying to Commit Suicide

Image
Self-Harm: Coping with different problems can lead to self harm. It can help you express feelings that you can not put into words. It also can  distract you from your life, or release emotional pain.  Afterwards, you may feel better but only probably a little while. Then the feelings start coming back and you have the urge to hurt yourself again.  If you want to stop but don’t know how, remember this: you deserve to feel better, and you can get there without hurting yourself.    In fact, you may feel like you have no choice.  The problem is that the relief that comes from self-harming doesn't last very long. For example, it can be like slapping on a band-aid when you really need stitches. It may stop the bleeding temporarily,  but it wont fix your injury. Most people doing self harm like to keep it a secret. You feel  ashamed or maybe you just think that no one would understand. But hiding it can be a heavy burden.  It can...
