For my top drugstore foundations are
1. Essence Pure Nude
I picked this foundation up at target for like $5. I wanted to try a new foundation and a new brand. So when I saw this one it was perfect. On the package it says its no makeup feel and I definitely agree with this. Its a very light weight foundation and very build-able. I love it so much. Its a jaw dropping for me because its so cheap but so amazing how it goes on the skin. it blends perfectly into my skin.
2. Maybelline Better Skin
I picked this foundation up because of Casey Holmes. She did a dupe video for high-end makeup and this is one of the products that was listed. So I thought it looked amazing on her( don't always apply that logic because all the time because sometimes it doesn't work). In my mind I was like 'omg omg that looks so good I have to get it' and I was so glad I did because It has become one of my favorites. It has actually replaced my Maybelline Fit Me foundation. And I love that freakin foundation. If you watch my videos you know I use that foundation a lot. And because I do use that one foundation a lot, I adventured out to find more foundations to use. Because I believe it has been quite boring seeing the same routine over and over again. Its another light weight and build able foundation. It doesn't just set on top of my skin but actually blends into my skin. I think it was about $8-$9
3. Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Pore-less
This foundation has been one of my favorite for like everrrrr. I have always used this foundation since it came out. It helps matify my combination skin. I barely have to use any powder for when I use this foundation. It saves me time and money because I don't have to put as much powder as I would for any other foundation. I don't like a very dewy look because I do have combination skin and it makes me looks too oily, so this foundation is so perfect for me. It cost me about $9
4. Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr
I got this foundation because of Zoe Sugg (Zoella). She used this foundation in one of her routine or favorites video, I don't remember. At first I didn't think this foundation would work on me because it looked quite dewy on Zoe. But once I used it and tired it for the first time I was amazed that it wasn't that dewy on me. It was a little bit but like I thought it would be. I was so over blown by this foundation. I think Rimmel does such a great job with their products( the ones I have tired anyways). Its another sheer to medium coverage. On the package says full coverage but I don't think it is. On me it last about 6-8 hours before I have to to touch up, which I think is pretty good. It cost me about $8
5. Milani Conceal and Perfect
Ohmygosh so this foundation was introduced to me by the one and only Nikki Tutorials. She conceived me to try and give this foundation a go. Again I am so glad I did. It has been one of my favorite foundations and become included into my daily makeup routine. It is more on the high coverage look. It is more dense than the other foundations but it is also kinda light weight. Its another foundation that doesnt just set on the skin and look bleh, but it actually blends into the skin perfectly. It doesn't look airbrush but its close. When i bought it I skeptically at first because it is kinda out of my price range ( college budget, not fun). My price range is usually between $5-$9. This foundation was about $11, but it worth spending those 2 extra dollars. If you can spend it then I recommend buying this foundation. Its amazing and its so hard to explain other than I cant believe its so close to a high end foundation.
