Dear Followers, Viewers & Youtubers



I just watched Jim Chapman's new vlog. The one where he meet the gleam team. In that vlog, he mentioned that youtubers having been feeling pressured about making every single video perfect for us. How many of you have seen that video?

Dear haters & viewers,

Jim mentioned youtubers have been seeing comments about making their videos more perfect for every one. I completely disagree with that. i think every youtuber should do what they want & not try to meet every standard for everyone who watched their videos, because even trying to make it more perfect for everyone there will always be that one person who might not like it at first. So no matter what they do, it should be on their standards & view ,and not someone else's. We are all human and we are all different. Were different on style, on how we do our hair or makeup or what shoes we wear or even what shape we are in. Its because were human and not a barbie or an alien that are copies of one another. We are copies of each other, AT ALL!!!! At times we may have similar taste in fashion or makeup or other things, but we also have opinions that differ from each other. Yes you may not like a video that week but it doesn't stop you from watching them any other week. It happens! If all you are going to do is complaining about every single detail about that video, then why are you watching it if your just complaining about it. You don't have to watch it, if you don't want to. Yes other people may say, they love that video, but thats their opinion and view of that video.


Dear youtubers,

I feel so bad that this is happening to you guys and I hate that this happening to you guys. I love you all with all my heart <3 I hate to see any of you guys sad/unhappy at all, it makes me unhappy to see you this way.It sucks that you guy's have to go through this all the time but just remember that there are a lot more viewers than haters. Try to focus on the positive and not the negative. Just to show you guys how much we appreciate you, I have asked some of my followers on twitter to tell you how much you mean to them(below):

So basically I'm gonna start from late november/december 2012 when things got really bad in my family. Also, my dad became very sick with terminal cancer in his lymph-nodes and things were not getting better. I had 'friends' but they weren't anything like me and they didn't get me. I felt so alone and felt like my problems were my fault. I was also very overweight at the time and hated the way i looked. So long story short, I got really depressed and started to self-harm. No one knew and still don't to this day except for my bestfriend. But anyways, so I already had been watching youtube video to distract me and things. But one day I stumbled across Caspar Lee's video with you. My face instantly lit up and I was smiling a real smile for once. I began to watch all your videos and I was from the start, hooked. The way you spoke and smiled your beautiful smile, and I could tell you had a great heart. Just the little things you did made me happy and will forever. I am now to this day, 234 day clean of self harm. Its all because of you Tan! You helped me find myself and inspire me to be confident in who I am.  To be happy with who I am and couldn't be more thankful to have you as my idol, my sunshine when my days are grey and my everything. Watching you helped my life turn around completely for the better! I love you so much and thank you again <3
